Number of Participants: 20-25

Age of Participants: 5-12 years

Time Allotment: 30 minutes

Materials needed:

  • toilet paper rolls
  • wrapping paper
  • tape
  • ribbon
  • candy or small toys

Objective: to get the kids into the Holiday spirit and encourage each of them to live life as a giver!

Class Breakdown:

  • 5 minutes of introduction of activity, demonstration, and expectations
  • 20-30 minutes of activity
  • 5 minutes of debrief / clean up

Instruction:

  1.  Wrap wrapping paper over toilet paper roll, and then tie off one end with ribbon.
  2. Load roll with candies/small gifts and then tie off the other end
  3. Have the kids do a “Secret Santa” / gift exchange where they give to the other kids, preferably those that they don’t know as well so as to build new friendships:)
