Time Allotment: 30 minutes

Required Supplies/Equipment:

  • White paint
  • Stencils
  • Paint
  • Spray bottles
  • Tape
  • Scissors
  • scrap paper

Objective: to have fun, encourage creative thinking

Class Breakdown:

  • 5 minutes of introduction of activity, demonstration, and expectations
  • 20 minutes of activity
  • 5 minutes clean-up

Instruction:

  1. Mix water and paint into spray bottles. It should be about 2 parts water, 1 part paint:  keep mixing until it is a watery texture but brightly colored.
  2. Place white paper over the scrap paper, to keep things from getting too messy .
  3. Tape your stencil onto your white paper. After it is taped, spray  your white paper with the water and paint mixture.
  4. Allow time for the paint to dry. Once it is dry, remove the stencil
